Name Change Reflects Growing Appeal
BLOOMINGTON, Indiana- Just ten months after the successful debut of colorful, smiling faces, Jon and Patricia Hecker have chosen a new name for their business. The new name, ArtfulSmiles.com, reflects a wider range of styles these two designers have envisioned.
Upcoming releases of new designs will include faces featuring orthodontic braces, along with animals and bugs targeted towards the children's healthcare industries and zoos. Always finding new color combinations and playful designs, the couple's trademark style of bold and colorful simplicity shines through.
Upcoming trade exhibitions include the 106th Annual Session of the American Association of Orthodontists. The premier annual exhibition will be held at the Sands Expo Center in Las Vegas on May 5-9, 2006. The couple will make a return to the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry's 59th Annual Session in Cincinnati, OH on May 25-28, 2006.

Artists Expand Horizons With Smiles
BLOOMINGTON, Indiana- A year ago Jon and Patricia Hecker were faced with one of those proverbial crossroads in life. Having seen the slow down in sales at art festivals, these two talented artists wanted to find another way to sell their vibrant images. After selling their dimensional art for 18 years to art festival customers they are branching out and marketing directly to some of their best collectors- dentists!
The two will be exhibiting photographic reproductions of their famous smiling face art at the 58th Annual Session of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry in Orlando, Florida. On May 27, 28 and 29, the artists will debut their smiling colorful faces at the Dolphin Hotel at The Walt Disney World Resort.
This new marketing of their already popular work stemmed from the myriad of collectors and admirers commenting that their work made them smile. Their work currently adorns several dentist's and doctor's offices, so this was a natural expansion. By selling reproductions, the artists can keep up with the demand of sharing their smiling art with the masses at affordable prices and attract new smiling collectors.
